We consider ourselves very lucky to meet this wonderful family. Pierre even took 45 minutes out of his busy morning to help us rent a car the morning of a national transportation strike (train station was closed). The room was wonderful, their restaurant recommendations were superb, and Bayeux is a lovely town. It made for one of the more memorable and relaxing parts of our monthlong European trip. Merci beaucoup to the Three Pierres!!!

Paris was spectacular, but it is the memories of Bayeux that we will carry with us forever thanks to the kindness of Les Trois Pierre. They arranged for us to have flowers to take to the American Cemetery...recommended superb restaurants...helped us secure a rental car..and the list could go on and on. We truly were guests in their home. Merci!!

This was my first B&B experience. My mother and I had a most enjoyable 3 night stay. The Lemessier Family made us feel very welcome in their home. I highly recommend a stay with them. Drew Newton

This was my fist stay in a B&B and it was most enjoyable. The accomadations were very nice and the Lemessier Family was so freindly and helpful ansering our question and suggestion on places for dinner (which were excellant). i especially enjoyed Marie's homemade jams and jellys. I would recommend their B&B to everyone. Dorothy

We recently spent several days here. This B&B was excellant and just loved the personality of our Host. This stay was part of our travels to celebrate our 50th Weddding Anniversary and our hostess was so kind and generous to us. If you are traveling to Bayeux, this B&B is definately the best place. Immaculately clean and a comfortable bed too.

Staying at Les Trois Pierres is like being welcomed into your best friend's home. My room was immaculately clean, stylishly decorated and provided for all my needs. From my first email communication, every transaction was dealt with professionally and clearly. On arrival I was greeted warmly and everything explained. I stayed for 4 days and my visit to Bayeux was made so easy, with every assistance provided by Marie-Pierre and Pierre for places to visit, tours, restaurants and car hire - Normandy landings, Bayeux Tapestry, Vieux Bayeux, Mont St. Michel, and much more. If you are visiting Bayeux, this is the B&B to stay at. Pierre, Marie-Pierre and Pierre-Antoine - grand merci and bon chance.

Our family of six(four teenagers) recently returned from a one month trip to Europe. We highly recommend Les Trois Pierre Bed and Breakfast for the perfect French experience. The town of Bayeux is lovely, close to Normandy, and the LeMessiers are warm, friendly and intelligent hosts, offering great advice for sightseeing. Don't miss the terrific town market on Saturday morning where Pierre LeMessier sells his goods. It is www.les3pierre.com

We stayed 4 nights at a nice B and B in Bayeux, France. Bayeux is a good base for Normandy since many of the tours leave from there (our family did 2 days with Battlebus). We stayed at Les Trois Pierres which has been run for only a year by a lovely family Pierre, wife Marie Pierre, and young son Pierre Antoine. We have 2 teenagers and have learned to ask for a family type room (which is less expensive than 2 separate rooms). They speak enough English to get by with making email reservations and also in person. Marie serves a lovely European breakfast with an assortment of her homemade jams and jellies (which we consumed major quantities of each morning). Pierre Sr. also runs a wine business (has stands at the local markets) and will do wine tastings at the B and B if you request. We met Americans as well as French at breakfast each morning (another opportunity to practice our French while they practiced their English, while we all raved about the delicious jam). Our room was upstairs in a house in the center f town (1 block from the main street). We had a double and 3 single beds and a large modern and very clean bathroom. We also had a view of the Catherdral's lighted dome at night from our bedroom. We drove to Bayeux from Paris but other guests had taken the train to town. We found them through a link on the Battlebus website (when all of Rick's picks were booked up and/or did not have family rooms). Rick should check this one out.
